US Tour postponed
Well, ive seen a few official posts about this, and the lads have announced it on their forum, so I guess it's ok to comment.
Jimis voice has been gradually deteriorating over the last few weeks, causing him to adapt most melodies to a lower pitch. He also decided to skip Cedar Room on one of the final European shows, the first time in Doves history. Cedar is at the top of his register so would cause the most discomfort, and we could really see(hear) him struggling.
Ive seen this a few times when acts have a loud stage, and with a new album, bands usually have a busy schedule to keep up the promotion.
With all our technology, digital recall, and backups, you can't dodge the human body taking a knock and needing time to heal.

When you hear about rescheduled dates, could you please let us know? I'm guessing we'd probably hear it from you before the main site. Knowing my luck, they'll reschedule San Francisco when I'm in England for Glastonbury.

After the severe misfortune of missing Doves at Coachella and in San Francisco, I will be returning the USA to unfortunately attend the funeral of my Grandmother who passed away earlier today.
The only good news is that my travel agent offered me a stop over in NYC when booking my flight. I took in on the chance I can try the touts for the NYC gigs or try for your Conan taping. Any idea which day you will be taping Conan (the 19th or 20)? Any information would be great.

Hey Aron, i was just hearing about your blog on The Source Code. Thanks for the comment - i'll def. check out your PodCast. I've been trying to interview some of the crew here to start a feed of my own, but they just run away! Need to disguise the mic. Maybe catch you on the fezzie circuit.
